I have been taking photographs for more than 45 years, mainly on film. The monochrome medium suits my temperament and the subjects that capture my attention. A wonderful thing about photography is that we all see the world differently. Taking the picture and hand-printing it gives me the chance to reveal a perspective that you may not have noticed otherwise. Join me on a visual journey.

About Me

My work blends landscapes and portraits, revealing beauty in the everyday. I’ve worked on various projects over the years, from the fishermen of Kalk Bay to worn & torn fly-posters in different parts of the world, and I’m currently taking pictures of farmers in their own environment. People have been extraordinarily patient with me, and often appreciate the prints I give them afterwards!
